The HLift
KOHLER glass lifts redefine the limits of technical feasibility in terms of design, detail and workmanship! Not all glass is the same, and the manufacturing processes used by lift manufacturers are hardly comparable. When using glass, we consider all potential perspectives of future viewers, because transparency is of little use if what it reveals is unsightly!
Our basic designs serve three different space concepts: the HLift, the OLift and the ULift – for circular cabins, U-shaped designs and rectangular floor plans – each in variable sizes. They are particularly suitable for use in floor-to-ceiling glazed shaft structures, open panoramic shafts and scaffold-free, fully glazed stairwells.
Our timeless design approach is based on support frames that are fully integrated into the cabins, concealing guides and safety devices so that they are not visible. In doing so, we ensure maximum symmetry in all three axes and balance between the materials used and the geometries selected. All cabins are fitted with specially designed and individually manufactured doors and panels.
Depending on requirements and spatial conditions, we use direct hydraulic central pistons as well as side- and centre-guided rope drives with 1:1 and 2:1 suspensions as drive technologies for our high-quality glass lifts.
And with MyLift, customers can define their own individual floor plan themselves… or simply let us design it for their specific application.
